One day I finally cracked after the boredom of FFXI was too great.
I bought it and instantly fell in love.
The controls, the quests, the graphics, the community.

I started with my hunter (my sihing was one too) and proceeded to level up.
With his help he brought me to a few different important flight points, my first trip to ‘Lagforge’ and as I leveled he did a really smart thing.

He would give me gear upgrades a couple levels ahead of what I was.
I was so determined to make him proud and equip the gear he graciously gave me that I was relentless.
He helped me with the tiny bit of money I needed for my first mount.

And I still haven’t looked back.

The starting realm was so beautiful! I loved the art direction.
The music.
The solo leveling.
I could jump and swim! Around level 10 I joined a guild.
it was noobtastic, they drove me nuts.

I met a sweet girl ( I hope) who got me into another guild which I stayed with until the drama bomb killed it.
I then bounced around in raid guilds (pre-BC) but it reminded me of FFXI or Dynamis for attendance points and I hated it.

BC came out.
After my Rogue was level 70 1 week later I rolled a BE pally.
I happened to see a toon from the guild “”Get Off My Lawn”" in the BE starter zone.
fast wow gold I had always admired the name of that guild on the same server while ally.
To my good fortune it was the GM.
He sent me to the website to apply.

It was a guild for adults! 25 and older and no drama.
Casual but with endgame activity at a reasonable pace.
I made a ton of freinds and have been in the guild for over a year now.
It’s home, we still have tons of fun together whether we are attempting Lurker for the first time or running Kara for the 1000 th.
We alt we play.
I still love the game.

In fact I am now leveling another rogue so I can have one Horde side.
In a way that is full circle for me.
