“just wondering if you think ganking (i roll horde on Barthilas) is getting out of control. i mean, i do expect to be spanked from time to time being on a pvp server, and it would be nice some fairer fights occaisonally. Admittedly i have been questing my lowbie in one of the worst areas (hillsbrad), but you would think that a high level would have something more interesting to do than roam around lowbie areas pwning everything in sight. i dont go out of my way to gank (i have geared 70 toons on the server as well), i will go head to head with someone around the same level if the chance permitts, if i die, so be it, if i win, i dont try to corpse camp. nothing worse having to do a spirit res over the other side of the map due to some idiot camping you for no reason. all this said, i guess ebay toons are excused because they have no idea about the game. i just think that it is out of control, and any level of decency that was left in the game is being vaccumned out of the pvp world. Hasn’t seemed too bad for me lately, and I’ve even been slacking a ton on my typical gank-avoidance strategies: by letting myself get below 40% health frequently (troll rogue, so I like popping a good juicy berserk fairly often) and recklessly forsaking all stamina in favor of the highest DPS gear I can find. Granted this was only the last ~8 levels of my rogue that I’ve played recently, but still - I was an easy open kill for anyone with the inclination but not very many people went after me. The main thing to realize is that if you constantly spawn and feed the guy kills, you’re entertaining him.

He will continue to kill you as long as you entertain him. So to avoid ganking you should avoid high-traffic areas, buddy up with someone (usually not optimal XP, but through STV it’s usually pretty damn excellent), don’t rez immediately if you know the guy is nearby camping you (log another char if you have to), and utilize town guards if they’re high enough to help (even if they’re not they’ll often discourage a non-determined ganker).” “I started doing the fishing dailies about 4 days after 2.4 patched on two toons. So far on both, I got the fishing tracker book and the booze recipe. Individually I got a shadow pearl once and jaggal pearl 2X once. Think I got motes two or 3 times, but not in the last 5 days. wow powerlevel The highest level of “”junk”" I got was the Gold Wedding Band. Nice 15g bonus. Has anyone tried auctioning one of those. wow level Alla median price looks good but don’t know if people are actually buying these. If I win another, I’ll try the AH. Would be nice to get Chuck for my toon Chuk. eve isk Nice naming synergy. Would prefer to get a fishing line or hat first. Or the gem or 2 ring (but not holding breath on those). wow gold I too am hooked on this daily. Closest thing to a lotto ticket in game. Minimal time required (assumes you already put in the time to get high enough skill to run this daily) for potentially huge profit/reward/cool items. wow powerleveling I always pause and wait a second to open the bag after turn in. Actually get excited in anticipation. Can’t say that any other thing in game elicits that same feeling (except maybe a raid boss, but that takes a longer time investment).

“I’ve been doing the fishing dailies religiously since they came out on my two 70s. To date, I’ve only gotten Muckbreath once, the hat once, the gem once and now the beer recipe twice. Since there are four different crocs, I figured one for each daily - so is it a very rare reward or have I just been unlucky. Have done fishing quest every day on 2 300+ characters. No croc. We have had the croc quest many times on our server. I’ve done the croc quest everytime also with 2 other 100+ fishing characters, no croc. Then there is my Paladin. The second time the croc quest came around, I wondered how low your fishing could be to get the quest. He did not know fishing yet. So I flew to Zangermarsh, learned fishing, bought a fishing pole. Got quest. Went to Orgrimmar. After several ‘fish got away’s and getting his fishing skill to 11, he caught the baby croc. wow lvl Went back, turned it in, and he got Toothy!! He has not done the quest again. As for other things, my druid got the Truesilver line on day 2. In the past few days I’ve gotten the recipe on 3 of my characters. wow power leveling Other than that it’s been junk. The baby croc pets only drop from the Crocolisk in the City quest. And as that’s one of five random quests each server gets per day it rather limits our chances of getting one of the pets. Ever quest platinum I’ve been doing the fishing quest every day on four characters. Blackhand got the croc quest on the first day and two weeks later we had not gotten it a second time. I was getting a bit frustrated. wow europe But yesterday morning we finally got the croc quest for the second time.

And my druid got Chuck as his new pet. I’m happy to get him, but I really want Farli to get one. gold in wow He has an albino crocolisk as one of his hunter pets. I’d love to have both crocs out at the same time. Maybe he’ll get one some day. I’ve gotten the fishing hat twice, but unfortunately it was on the same character so I had to vendor the second one. That was painful. One of the things I like about this quest is that much of the vendor trash sells for over a gold, several for ten plus gold. And the fishing hooks mean that I’ll no longer have to go on mining missions for tin to make Aquadynamic Fish Attractors. “RELATED LINKS:

“I am a student attending the University of Texas at El Paso, majoring in Sociology and Gender Studies.I am preparing a short project for a Gender Studies course that looks at representations of gender in popular culture. I am working along with two other students in presenting a topic on what place video games have in the discourse of gender. My contribution is specifically looking at gender dynamics in MMORPG type games, specifically World of Warcraft. As a previous player I have noticed, just by simple observation, some interesting phenomena in regards to gender and avatar selection, and the sociology of interaction in WoW. There is also some very interesting research being done on the efficacy of virtual socialization, including gender, in MMORPGs. Considering this, this short survey is for me to gather data to supplement this previous research. The survey is designed to be completely anonymous, so I would be grateful for any responses. If you have any questions at all, including questions about the survey and its intended use, please contact me via this forum. Thanks! They’re all Sociology classes, obviously b/c WOW represents such a rich interactive social environment. Because your link is broken (likely b/c you never enabled the survey start in SurveyMonkey, or something to that effect), I will summarize the role of gender and avatars in WOW, or any other online interaction. All Female avatars are really males. This is true until proven otherwise by pictures and *possibly* voice (but this is not 100% reliable). The reasons for males making female avatars are many, but it’s really 1) b/c they can, and 2) as a guy, I’d rather not listen to a male avatar grunt etc. as I kill things or watch a digital male posterior all day long. wow lvl (In short, males liek da b00biez).

All male avatars are males too. Same rules apply. level wow Oh, and women don’t play MMOs, duh. Except my wife…and some other people’s wives…who have female avatars - but you should still assume they are male to be safe. Sometimes, you’ll get someone (like my GM), that sounds sorta like a girl (or maybe a guy), won’t post a pic, has a female avatar, but supposedly has slept with someone else in the guild. cheap world of warcraft gold In cases of extreme ambiguity, the person is still a guy, even if his gender idenity is female. Choice of gender in a game doesn’t necessarily have any effect on someone’s gender identify…I have 5 female toons, 5 male toons, b/c it is a fantasy game and I can. (Also, certain classes just look better as a certain gender, or the classes themselves have underlying gender associations…ho ho! an insight!). wow gold ” “I`m a big fan of Final Fantasy, and have been playing the Final Fantasy 11 mmorpg for the better part of 4 years now. I decided to take a break from it for a bit and give WoW a try. I skimmed through the wiki site but it just made me more confused. wow gold I have no experience when it comes to WoW lore and know nothing about the game or the warcraft universe. I want to apologize in advance for some of the noob questions I`m about to ask. From what I read, certain races can only play certain job classes; so does 1 race play a job better than another race which can play the same job. Are races appearance only or do they each hold different stats in health, magic, etc. Warrior and Paladins are both tanks and damage dealers right.RELATED LINKS:

“The only time you should get issues is during elemental stage when people arent targeting aran personally, big juicy raid warnings should solve that. if they have that and still move call them out on it by name, once people get singled out as the one that moved they should take extra care. Of all the times i have gone only a few times have i seen a wipe caused by flamewreath, its actually the least disruptive of his abilities I will be switching to Warhammer when it goes out, since Im tired of WoW Grinding, Since Ive been playing for almost 2 and a half years. If I was barely at Kara stage I wouldnt have gotten very far before Warhammer launched. Besides, I will be mostly playing the Open beta when it starts, wich will probably be next month. It was a fun ride, but Im spent, I just want to PvP for a while and say goodbye to all my friends. Wiping on Spectral Chargers sucks more. WHY DON’T PEOPLE UNDERSTAND THE CONCEPT OF BALLING UP ON THE MOB’S ASS. ! Granted, I haven’t wiped on those first few pulls to Attumen in a looooooong time… But people have taken those bad habits of not balling up and applied them to Gruul’s Lair. It’s really… FUN… when half of your 25-man group wipes on trash in Gruuls because the ranged classes stand at max ranged from the big guys with the heavy axes. I mean… Hello. wow powerleveling I’m a hunter. I played this game for 2 years with a Deadzone, but I put those old instincts behind me when there are mobs that drop aggro and charge. ” “Just finished a pre-work game of AV. We won, downing Van while Allies were starting on Drek. power level Yet they got more bonus honor than we did.

(426 for us to something like 460.) I think they had one of their Dun Baldar towers still up while all of ours were down. Does this sound right, that a losing side in AV can come out with more bonus honor. wow gold kaufen Or was I just too bleary-eyed to read the scoreboard straight. So basically towers > generals. I can see circumstances in which you’d rather rush Van/Drek but seems ideal to pick up as many towers as possible and then rush general. wow power leveling Which is funny because in my battlegroup the game has become a sprint to the generals, sometimes ignoring towers. well in your situation, had you waited on a tower alliance would have killed Drek before you could kill Vann, and you would probably have had less honor. So sounds like you did the best you could. and thats not a bad amount of honor anyway. It really depends on how you define a “”win”" in AV. gold wow If you define a “”win”" as the most honor gained, then you lost. When farming honor, I’ll take these kinds of “”wins”" everytime. If you define a “”win”" as killing the general before the other team does, then you won. When trying to finish a BG daily, you need these kinds of “”wins”" to complete the quest.RELATED LINKS:

“Blizzard has slowly and, from my estimation, very purposefully been adjusting it’s warrior itemization theory. Also, from what I can see, this is definitely for the better. Many classes can get away with balancing or powerhousing certain attributes. wow gold Main Tanks were originally gifted with a Might set that offered Stamina, Strength, and Agility; we also once could get 50% more Defense than we currently do off the same items. Yet, what Blizzard was mistakenly doing at that time was creating a jack of all trades Warrior class. This class could not carry the absolute highest mitigation levels that it currently can, yet was overpowered and overcapable in certain encounters. As a result of the earlier Warrior design, the more dated encounters like Onyxia never properly scaled to player skill level but strictly to player gear: heavy magical fire attacks were the only balance against near-invulnerability to physical attacks that warriors initially had. wow gold kaufen Today, guilds with Tier 1 and Tier 2 gear are running 10-20 man raids of Onyxia without serious threat of failing the encounter — this, not losing our old defense levels of the past, is a gamebreaking issue. The new itemization theory seems to hold a common goal. Increase the survivability of the warrior in a stable and reliable way while simultaneously increasing their aggro generation capabilities. Stamina, armor, and defense are built into nearly all item sets in the advanced endgame. Also, with the changes to Shield Slam, shield block is an important attribute that is cropping up in more noticeable places. wow gold In terms of steady aggro generation, Blizzard has also been implementing heavy amounts of +hit on Naxxramas level tanking gear. Blizzard has defined our current Main Tanking role more specifically by giving us specific Mitigation and Aggro gear and encounters. This is further divided by Physical, Magical, and Mixed attacks.

achat wow gold There is no longer list of items that will give you the best gear for every encounter, but instead certain gear that will place you in an powerful position per each encounter. This new mix of encounters can be seen everywhere as Blizzard diversifies it’s content. For instance, Patchwerk does not appear to have serious Aggro requirements for the tanks, but it dramatically emphasizes Mitigation gear. ” .RELATED LINKS:

“Gearing a Lead Tank and Main Tanks is a mechanic designed to push guilds to the next level. With each new piece of gear, every raid encounter becomes easier and the 40-man dynamic becomes smoother. A tank wearing five or six pieces of Might on Golemagg could save the guild hundreds of gold in repair bills, as he will be able to survive the encounter with relative certainty - whereas a tank who was only able to get one piece of Might in a free market has a considerably higher chance of being unable to mitigate and survive. Equal gearing does not help your raid. Five tanks with 1 or 2 pieces of Might or Wrath does not come near the benefit to the guild that one tank with 8 pieces does. This is true particularly in Molten Core. As you progress, the need to continue and expand your tanking ranks extends to more warriors; for certain fights like Chromaggus (sans Timelapse) and Nefarian, you are still dealing with a Lead Tank - although Blackwing Lair is the first of the multi-tank instances. The reason it is particularly selfish to walk away from a guild that has geared you is that you have been geared by the work of 39 other players who have put in very real hours, both in instances and outside farming gold for repairs. In raiding guilds, taking real life into consideration is important, and as a main tank you have to tether your responsibilities to them as part of a solid team and family. This leads to one final point: finding the right guild. Ideally, you will find a guild that fits your raiding time and will stick to that schedule to as much of a degree as possible. Having friends in a guild you are looking at is important; however, it is not necessarily the end-all.

wow gold If you are very serious about tanking and the endgame, try to target the most mobile and active guilds on your server. Warriors applying to raiding guilds generally are expected to be under-par in gear because tank turnover in guilds is extremely low. ” “The following is the second compilation of my reference guide written to help those new and old in Warcraft raiding. None of this is a replacement for guild strategy decisions, nor is it the end-all and be-all of tanking. Enclosed in this guide are four major sections designed to assist dedicated tanks; though it is written for Warriors, it may be helpful to Druids and Paladins, as well as anyone interested in researching certain dynamics of the endgame. wow gold kaufen The first section covers Main Tanking and leadership qualities related to this role. The second section covers gearing and itemization as it relates to tanking. The third section covers tanking itself, in terms of talents, threat, positioning, and other related subjects. wow gold The fourth and final section is a reference guide to specific encounters in the endgame. Addendums to this guide include mods and other various information. This guide, though long and undoubtedly arduous for the reader, serves the secondary purpose of preparing warriors who are unfamiliar with the endgame environment. If you are a warrior applying to or forming a raiding guild, you are strongly recommended to read this and familiarize yourself with the concepts. I do not believe in the so-called casual guild. wow po Any raiding guild, by the nature of achieving raid goals, is incapable of being casual and undisciplined. It is instead a high level of discipline and organization devoted to a goal, be it learning Molten Core on your weekends or learning Naxxramas six nights a week. In everything we do, we are given a certain amount of time in which we either put forth our full discipline and attention or we do not; in which we either succeed or do not.

achat wow gold This guide is not written for people who do not wish to progress; it is written for those who have a deep desire to progress as fast as time permits. As such, I will not apologize for certain premises you may find in this guide — for instance, Protection is better for raid progress in most new encounters than either Arms or Fury heavy builds. ” .RELATED LINKS:

“The second aspect to Main Tanking revolves around making a time commitment. There is no such thing as a casual Main Tank for a raiding guild; in our guild, our tanks are expected to be at every raid they can possibly be there for. Real life very much factors into this. wow gold Are you single, or does your significant other play World of Warcraft with you. Do you have a schedule at work that can significantly change from week to week or month to month. Are you in college. wow gold kaufen To make the fastest progression as a guild, you will need tanks with this particular time devotion. For almost any other class or balance you can compensate; for well-geared warriors, you cannot. Afterlife, one of the top global raiding guilds and major Everquest guilds, happens to share the same server we do; because they lost several warriors after the release of Blackwing Lair, they lagged far behind the other guilds on our server (including Dawn Eternal, 5th global kill of Nefarian). wow gold With a solid grouping of warriors for their guild, they are back on top. ” “As a Main Tank, your attitude towards your guild and your raid is not optional. When is it ok to leave a guild as a geared main tank. It really isn’t. If you are a member of a cohesive, mobile, forward-moving guild and are performing in a tanking position, you have no in-game “”right”" to this. wow po Loot was not given to you as payment of services. achat wow gold You are an investment in the raid and guild progression. As such, most raiding endgame raiding guilds will simply not consider people who deserted a position of tanking in a prior guild. However, issues related to real life and necessary circumstance do come up — this is only a game. Why take this stance.

The phrase, “”never put all your eggs in one basket,”" sums it up best. Unlike any other class, aspiring raiding guilds will gear Lead Tanks and Main Tanks with first choice on new gear. This is commonly referred to as Main Tank gearing. It comes in many forms: voluntary from other warriors or hard-coded into a DKP system, for instance. In our case, I take a Lead Tank position and do receive first choice on gear; the other Main Tanks also have tank priority. Very occasionally, this steps into cross-class items such as Onyxia or Nefarian’s head or the Qiraji Armaments; for these items, we generally take an approach of every-other-drop so other classes get a chance at the items. Why is Main Tank gearing important. Progression. That’s it. If you kill a boss to get the loot in the first place, you don’t need better geared tanks to finish that encounter again. But tell me, how many guilds do you know that go to Ragnaros and stop there. Or kill Vaelastrasz and say, “”hey, let’s relax. “” ” .RELATED LINKS:

“Classes There is a different way to master each class in wow for rogues. I will try to show these ways as much as I can and know:(whenever you are asked to ambush you could sap and ambush after it)also most of the time I will be talking about the cheap-shot technique :cheapshot>backstab>sinister strike>gouge>wait until gouge is almost done>eviscerate. wow honor eveling Mage Ok hands down the harder of the two classes we have to deal with. Since they can blink and frost nova and frostbolt what you need to aim for is to stop them from moving too far from you. Now you should open with ambush if you can, to kill them fast with their cloth armor. wow level service So ambush>backstab>gouge (don’t wait after gouging since they can blink out).evis. Double crippling is almost a must for mage. now many times the mages just frost nova as soon as you ambush and then blink away, which means that your backstab won’t be happening, so you should just try to get your crippling to work on them and then hit them as much as you can. wow lvl service Fighting a mage mostly depends on their skill and your timing. Hunter This is another of the rogue’s problems. Hunters can just frost or freeze trap and slow you down with their shots, let their pet do damage and put DOT on you so you don’t vanish. wow gold most of the time the most efficient way to deal with them out of stealth is to sprint to them and keep hitting them until your crippling poison does its thing, and when their slowed down their as easy to kill as anything. Also one of their disadvantages is that when their running around you and shooting at you they usually have aspect of cheetah on which means if you hit them they get dazed.

wow power leveling To open I advise cheapshot then backstab while their stunned then go in front and sinister strike for combo points and then gouge, wait until your gouge is near over and evis. They usually die by then if not just keep on hitting them and gouging them until they die (this technique will be used later on in the guide and I will call it the cheapshot technique) ” .RELATED LINKS:

“Ethics 101 While Battlegrounds are battlegrounds, and the ultimate goal is to hurt your opponent, there should still be some base lines as to how one can act. While WoW may just be a game, doing a /spit, or mocking your opponent one too many times, may make the person gain a personal hatred towards your character and yourself. Amoungst the things you just don’t do is 1) Graveyard Camping. wow honor eveling All battlegrounds have Graveyards. Though in the Alterac Valley, these are capturable, they are not in the Warsong Gulch, nor Arathi Basin. Nor is it fair to camp these graveyards, because the people resurecting there will be unbuffed, cought flatfooted, and mainly discourage them to fight against you again (I.E. wow level service Less battlegrounds for you!) And may if they so wish, take it a step further and slander you on the Realm Forum. Do not think that graveyard campers can hide behind the new Naming & Shaming politics. You can only get so much honor out of one target. 2) Respect. wow lvl service Respect your opponent cause they spend their real life time to fight you, win or loose, it is still of their choosing. Do not call them stupid for trying to achive what you desire. They might just one day find out what they are doing wrong, and it’ll be you who’s left with the short end of the stick. wow gold If you are 15 inside Arathi Basin against 5 enemies, show kindness towards them, and do not kill unless attacked. If they try to beat you, they desirve death, but otherwise leave them alone and do alittle /dance. 3) Stay in one Battleground!. This is a particular touchy area. wow power leveling Blizzard added a feature to the game that will let you queue multiple Battlegrounds (For what reason i have no idear) And this has caused a wave of “”Lets join WSG, but if AB comes we join that”" meaning that half the raid instantly disapears to go to Arathi Basin, in the middle of a Warsong Gulch game.

This shows complete and utter lack of respect for your fellow players as you leave them to be horribly farmed by the opposite team. Not only does it hurt your own but also strenghten your enemy. They will be left facing “”X”" amount of enemies more than themselves which, trust me on this, builds up personal resentment towards those who leave the battlegrounds. Afterall, in a team game, there’s no room for unreliable people. ” .RELATED LINKS:

“The Rank system is fairly simple. You gain honor by 3 ways 1) Kills. Each time you kill an opponent within 10 levels of you, you get a pre-calculated amount of honor, based on His rank versus your Rank. How much damage you do to him (If multiple people are hitting same target) And of course your level versus his level. wow honor eveling You will find that off-Battleground PvP’ing pays very well for solo kills. For each time you kill a person, you get 25% less honor from said target. Max Kills 4. 2) Battleground Bonus Honor. This differs from Battleground to Battleground. so i will note both three. A)Warsong Gulch You gain Bonus honor for each time your team captures the enemy flag. wow level service 3 x Bonus honor per battle. B) Arathi basin You gain Bonus honor for ever 200 point score your team collects. 10 x Bonus honor per battle. C) Alterac Vallet You gain bonus honor for every time you destroy an enemy structure or vital component. 3) Battleground Marks. You gain 1 or 3 Battleground Marks. 1 if you loose, 3 if you win. These Marks can be turned in at the Warmaster for Reputation from Mark faction and Bonus honor. wow lvl service Note that Double Reputation Weekends only affects the reputation gained inside of the Battleground, and not from the reputation gained from turning in Marks. ” .
